I want to get in to 3D printing, can’t afford one of those fancy kits though.

I’ve not taken a course, but mechanically speaking I’ve been a heavy equipment mechanic and auto mechanic. I build all of my own computers from the component level and I’ve built (or rebuilt rather) HVAC control boards. I not sure if all of that is comparable. I am also A+ and Net+ certified if that helps any.

I didn’t think the motors in printers would be strong enough. I’ve not seen any of these 3D printers in person but I guess I’m just imagining them being rather large and weighted. At least 2 foot high in total. No?
