How cool would this be. An R/C series with an affordable control motor and tyre, and lets say requirement to have to 1:12 scale glass, roof, bonnet, and bootlid of a saloon car. The rest of the design to be totally free and 3D printing encouraged, we’d end up with an R/C DTM series. 
The lexan shells are cheap enough. The requirement is that they be used and at a defined distance from the ground, after that, anything goes. Be fun to see what comes up for ‘under the hood’.
