Homemade Silicone Sock
I know this sort of thing has been posted before but it was a new cool idea for me to come across.
I’d like to thank pyr0ball, who was willing to make a mold for an older style block/nozzle. He has many different style socks for different printers available on thingiverse. Along with the needed materials and instructions.
His molds are well designed and instructions easy to follow. The whole process was easy. Hardest thing was being patient for silicone to cure. Gonna have to do a new PID autotune, but heating should be alot more consistent.
Another useful print - use printer to make a mold for its own silicone sock.
