Hi game anyone here using the Da Vinci 1.0 Desktop 3D Printer?
Not using one, but I saw them and talked to them at Inside 3d Printing NYC recently and was really not impressed with their example prints on display. They seem to be a mass manufacturing company trying to figure out 3d printing rather than a 3d printing company trying to figure out mass manufacturing (like Makerbot and others). Proprietary (chipped) spools and software (which seemed to need a lot of work) and not a lot of obvious signs of innovation or robust engineering. Folks may get good results out of them, but I suspect it will be in spite of the hardware/software for some time now.
The high settings have good prints just takes FOREVER! Like over night
