Hi FastSPI Community! Thanks so much to the dev for this library!
Here’s a few links to projects I’ve used FastSPI for.
http://funkboxing.com/wordpress/?p=1366 ( a few basic effects )
http://www.blendernation.com/2012/08/21/blender-arduino-led-control/
( control LED’s with Blender )

Looking forward to checking out FastSPI 2!!!

Excellent, and thanks for the project links! I’m always curious to hear about what people are doing with the library. I wish there was a free software license that had a “send me videos, damnit” clause

There’s a lot more efficiency around SPI usage in the new library, as well as flexibility for different clock speeds/platforms. (Given how rigid on timing they are, there’s a limit to how much ‘faster’ i can make the ws2811’s, but I did make the code a lot easier to add new chipsets to and it self-adjusts timing based on cpu clock

(Also, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed to realize that “control LED’s with Blender” meant the software blender, as opposed to, say, a blendtec

LOL! Nice! But I can only think of one control the blendtec would provide- OFF!
