Hi 3D printers - can anyone point me towards some video footage of a 3D printer in action that could be used on a local TV news segment tonight. Either royalty-free or something you own the copyright on? Thanks!

@John_Hauer You will still have to make a call or send an email to get a license, but these “Rostock” and/or really any “Delta Robot” based 3D printers sure have some great eye-candy, production value!

@John_Hauer This nice time-lapse, actually offers contact info for it’s license: http://youtu.be/keC8aVym93U

Incidentally, these “Delta Robot” configurations have been used in high-speed, automated manufacturing for years; however, it is a relativity new application for them to be utilized in the world of 3D printing. (If you don’t count their use as CNC, 6 Axis Routers.)

Woohaa… This new KickStarter is a GREAT example of the Delta design! I bet they would give their left arm for a spot on the evening news, since they are in the early days of their campaign!

Thanks everyone. @Jeff_Karpinski you were first so I went with it. I’ll update the post when I have a link to the piece. If you have footage please continue to share as I could use elsewhere. Thank you all once again!

I’m going to go ahead and have to say that the Delta Robot that @Michael_Hulme linked to is oh so sexy looking.

Got to like that @Michael_Hulme . Agree @Tara_Tiger_Brown #badass

Did this segment ever get airtime?

Hi @Aaron_Isaacs - Yes, here is the link - http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/money/business_news/cintrifuse-tenant-3dlt-aims-to-ride-technology-wave
