I have , and recommend a Prusa type.

It is used by most reprappers, and is well supported on the web and forums. It has a 20x20cm build surface and is not as big as the Mendel.

Depending on where you buy your kit or parts: the price goes from $350 and up.

Have a look on ebay! Be carefull for badly printed printer parts!

The triangular frame of the Prusa / MendelMax is one of its biggest flaws. I’d recommend a 90 as well.
