The video shows the two modes for the carriage. At first it shows the Direct Drive extrusion mode utilizing the amazing @Martin_Bondeus Bondtech drive gears. Then you can see how the extruder can be easily removed just leaving the hotend. The hotend is mounted on the carriage plate in a groove and retained in place from below by the heat sink fan assembly. So in this mode it is perfect for Bowden use.

The rest of the video just shows how the rest of the assembly comes apart.

Oh I want this. Direct drive for flexible filament would be huge. Although I want a Eustathios too so then I’d end up with four printers… although that seems to be average these days.
