Hello everyone i just bought my 1st 3D printer super excited it’s the CR 10 and i had a question what’s the best filament to use for this printer and the size of the filament as well I’m a completely new to all this plz and thank you
1.75 mm PLA will give a newbie the easiest and best results. (Pick a filament color you really like and stick with it. You can paint it to get to any other color.)
You will probably need a few tries at bed leveling. Its is critical that you not get discouraged because it will take you a few tries before you get it right and to realize that you’ll need to do it at the start of every print as well.
Go to Youtube, look up CR–10 and look at the videos there.
Relax, enjoy and be patient.
@Felix_Castro HatchBox is my favorite brand. I’ve used lots of filament from them (and eSun and other brands.)
Start with PLA, and Hatchbox has some of the best, easiest to work with PLA in the biz.
