Hello all.
I’m planing to build a new printer with dual extruder. I have bought the most parts already, including the controller board MKS GEN L v1.0, knowing it is supporting two extruders…
Anyway I just realised there is only one conector for the part fan. But where do I connect the fan for the cold ends to?
Any help and solution is welcome…

Hot ends. And you can connect them to any 12v or 24v source depending on what voltage your running.

They are usually always on anyway.

Jonathan Thrumble is correct. Hot-end fans go directly to supply power. They run when the printer is on.

Thanks a lot gents.
I assumed this as one possible solution already. My Tevo Tornado is working with the fan connected to E1. This fan is running above 50°C at the hot end only.
So I thought about the possibility to keep this function with the dual extruder also.
