Hmm, would be interesting if upon pausing the print for firmware, if the host could spit out a line number and allow you to continue from that point after power failure, etc.
Even maybe pay attention to the power-mode on laptops, and desktops, write to some sort of flushed buffer, so that upon power failure, you could resume.
You know that would be nice. Many a time have I had my filament get chopped and had to guess what layer it stopped at, usually I’m pretty good at guessing and can save the part.
