GPS display for a Motorcycle

Hello!
I’m new here and don’t know if this post belong in this topic, sorry if it doesn’t.

Recently I bought a motorcycle and I have the necessity for a GPS for me not to get lost.

I’m thinking a mini display connected to my cellphone and with Android auto installed is sufficient, but I don’t have experience in DIY or Making and I’m hoping you guys can point me in the right way to do this.

Any ideias? And thanks for the help!

I’m not sure if anyone here has done anything remotely like that, eg maybe a better question to ask in a Android/Arduino forum.

As an alternative, why not just run a mapping app on the phone, open street map (OSM) is an excellent and free alternative to google and co’s offerings.
