Will drawings imported in inches still display as inches if the firmware has been set to inches? Just curious.

The override values are both %. For clearness I will add a % sign behind the values.

Ok, now with % signs and support for smoothie (via USB).

The override feature is not jet in the master branch. You need to take the overrides branch.
