Wow. I’m a mechanical engineer and did we really need to go through all that math to tell people how I-beams work. It’s important stuff, but as a maker I’d rather see less “Alton Brown” and more “Paula Dean” when describing how to make better prototypes.

@Chris_Reyes you’re a mechanical engineer and you don’t need to get an intuitive understanding of how I-beams and related technology works. You are not the audience for this article.
