This is pretty awesome! Too bad the NFC tags are not really common.

Neat! NFC tags are really cheap. And there are NFC readers is many Android devices. Hmm.

I have a NFC reader in my phone and one of my tablets. Just not the cheap ones I use with my printers.

@Mathias_Dietz Something that might be interesting is that NFC could read a tag containing the url of a GCode file. Thus, it could save a file in Dropbox (always with the same name) and from GCodePrintr read the tag and print it. (May also be possible that other do it and that I have not managed to do)

@Fernando_Bueno this is exactly what the demo shows. The NFC tag points to an URL. You can just use a Dropbox link if you like. Try it out with the latest GCodePrintr beta

@Mathias_Dietz I am not able to make it work. I have the url of Repetier GCode file and creates a symbolic link took her to Dropbox. Now I create a NFC tag in which I store the url and read it with the phone, I always open the browser. I have frozen from Android browser to not open and now does nothing but GCodePrintr not react to the reading of the tag (I have version 1.68 beta). What problem can you think I can have?

The file extension must be .gcode

Yes, my file is https://www.dropbox.com/s/ […]/composition.gcode

@Fernando_Bueno ah, 1.68 does not support https yet (only http). I can add that to the next beta release.

Oh! You thought I was too clumsy for this. xD
Is that stored in Dropbox and connecting to your home computer using TeamViewer for Android, you can create the GCode file remotely and have it instantly available on mobile. NFC Then the file is read and sent to the printer with GCodePrintr. Perfect right?

I look forward to the 1.69. Good work!

@Fernando_Bueno I just published V1,69 beta with https support (Google update can take some hours) . I tried it with dropbox , it works ! But you need to use another link which directly points to the download ( like https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/…)

@Mathias_Dietz Wow! Impresinante. I get to download it right now and I try. Thank you!

@Mathias_Dietz Now I read the GCode file, but gives an error:
Failed to load model. Is this a valid gcode file?
When reading the file, you are reading the code shtml instead of GCode file. If I open the file from the menu, read. I send you the link in private file I’m reading
