For the life of me… trying to use UCS2903 24v addressable tape with FastLED and either an Arduino Nano or UNO R4, but no matter what I do, it always seems to strobe (all shows appear to play at incredibly high speeds and any attempts to adjust speed have no effect).

Is there a way to manually set the data rate to 800kbps and refresh rate to 400hz?

NM, got it, missed adding a connection from the Arduino’s ground to the tape’s ground
