Finished my endmill holder design today.

Finished my endmill holder design today. It is a quick-and-dirty design in MDF, that can hold shaft sizes ranging from 3 to 6mm diameter. Machining took about 30minutes using a 3mm mill for the holes and 6mm mill for the pocket and outside.

You like that? I this is my favorite bit holder I have made http://www.instructables.com/files/orig/F9T/CD2M/FUNOWQ73/F9TCD2MFUNOWQ73.jpg
Bits snap in, and out of it nicely. I’ve done the drill a piece of wood bit holder too. I’m not so keen on them myself. I actually upgraded my design with this style http://www.instructables.com/id/Plastic-Bit-Holder-Revisited/ It is a little nicer I suppose.

Thanks for sharing.

I like the little shallow pocket at the front, for all the little bits & pieces that you end up wanting to keep handy temporarily. Nice work!
What did you use for CAD and CAM?
