ExOne a company I have never heard of had some interesting parts on display.
I also saw some new materials coming out that look very promising. Aluminum Nylon composite was one of the most interesting I saw. They were making tooling for short run injection molding that could run several thousand parts before wearing out.
Then there was hollow glass micro sphere infused plastic that greatly reduced the weight of printed parts for drones and other small flying craft. It was also very stiff. Though I am not sure how well it would hold up to crashes.
