D.I.Wire & Mesh

Many years ago I did see the following youtube, and start to dream about finding a way to make large Mesh structures. if anybody have an idea on how to “slice” a Mesh into stackable wires (gcode) structure, please let me know.

I second Grasshopper. We use it to export non planar gcode from spline objects. Should be easy to do from mesh but since we design the objects in Rhino we go from numbs. They are better structured and smooth so no need for a mesh.

Thank you @ekaggrat_singh_kalsi & @Unfold, I didn’t know about Grasshopper3D, I will investigated it.

It’s part of Rhinoceros 3d modeling package. It’s a patching environment in which you can create your own 3d tools.
