hey everyone. i got a s9 and I’m unable to cut, whenever i power past 50% the laser does a big flash and freezes wherever it is over the project and gets busy. any help would be appreciated. thank you

My first question would be what software are you using and what OS is on your computer. My gut tells me that might be a gcode translation problem, though I don’t know if I could be of any serious help. But knowing this might give better insight or help narrow the problem. Especially if it’s a known bug with a particular release of whatever software you are using.
