Very cool! I wouldn’t mind having a printer like that to play around with! =)

Well 75mm/s looks pretty much different on my printers  propably because the heavy extrusion construction they set the acceleration to be so low, it can’t reach even 75mm/s

Printrbot post with a printed scaled down version of the design.

@Klaus_Daume , Don’t forget the scale he’s printing at. It takes a while to cross a 10cm+ travel distance, even at 75mm/s. Thick print layers are used to compensate. I have my Go Large printer outfitted with a 1mm dia nozzle.

Yep but with just the motorsound you can clearly tell, it is accelerating fairly slow. I didn’t mean to complain, i just realized the fact anyway. My largest machine runs 45cm x 45cm x 40cm but i exchanged the .8 nozzle again since i rather wait a day longer than suffer reduced quality because of .6 or .7 layers.

Yes, acceleration slows things down since it doesnt stay at top speed long. It’s really my only option for this type of printer. I’m doing most of my printing overnight, so it’s ok for me. I love these big nozzles.
