BBBAndroid is a customized port of AOSP 4.4.4 (Android KitKat) for the BeagleBone Black. Using a combination of the 3.8 Linux kernel and the AOSP and Rowboat repos, this flavor of Android focuses on a smoother build experience and providing kernel capemgr functionality and flexibility to the end-user. A pre-made image for an 8+ GB microSD card is available for download, and instructions for building BBBAndroid from source are provided.
