Ares: Heated bed mod.
How I did it: External power source + ramps board + pc.
Connect it all up, control the heated bed via prontrface & voila!
Haven’t tested it with the internal pi yet. I think that should work aswel & you can eliminate the extra pc.
As for the firmware on the extra ramps board, it’s a standard delta version with heated bed.
Total mod cost: 15 euro

Great idea, hope it works. I love this machine, wish they would offer it with a heated bed , I would buy another one. If it works please post how to do it . You may need some kind of risers for the bed to vent the heat out away from the boards ?

Update, it stopped working. For some reason, my 2 spare ramp boards gave out. I’m looking for an easier way to control the heated bed.
