I have not, But I have enough spares I could try and see what I could come up with just to see how it all works. :slight_smile:

I guess you would need to use something that didn’t require a massive heat bed. Pla?

I think making it heat in zones or part of xcarve citing area.

Making easy to swap both 3d printer and drive along with heated bed. If nozzle and drive could be made to fit current router mount would make for fast change.

I think xcarvr can Handel larger weight of direct drive filament feed allowing for flex filimints.

Unless you have some tall gantry plates, or an open bottom, it does not leave much height for the Z axis.
