Any chance for some additional resolution support? Specifically, 1024x600. I want to use my old gTab as a permanent printer controller, but everything from the connect button down is cut off and inaccessible. Thanks.

Alternatively, if the printer control section were scrollable, that would also work.

Please send me a screenshot. The app has different layouts for smaller screen sizes. But some devices report a wrong size. I made some changes in 1.54 beta, could you try if it works better?

Are you rooted?
Perhaps you can change the screen DPI around a bit to change the scaling?

Or Mathias might be able to fix it, he seems very capable :wink:

I downloaded the beta, and it’s an improvement, I can at least see the connect and print button, but a significant portion is still cut off. http://i.imgur.com/3tuRT1t.png

If it matters, it’s a Viewsonic Gtab rooted with 4.1.2. I tried messing around with the screen density, but that only seemed to affect the build area, the printer control area and the left toolbar were unaffected. http://i.imgur.com/83DXKMK.png

@Ray_Johnson1 this looks odd. The App choses this layout only if the smallest width >= 720 dp. (dp= px/ (dpi/160) ) .
when your dpi is more than 135 it should choose a different layout. ( 711dp = 600 / (135/160)). Can you try >135 dpi please ?

@Mathias_Dietz I was able to get it to work with a combination of changing the dpi and using app compatibility to zoom the screen to fit. It’s kind of roundabout, but since this is a standalone controller and won’t be used for anything else, all that matters is that it works. Thanks for the help, and great app!

I’m not sure if it helps, the values reported by your device are really broken.

Ha! Not surprising. My gTab is pretty obsolete and it’s running a custom ROM that’s several versions higher than it was meant for. I’ll try out 1.58. Thanks!
