Got asked to make an AA sobriety coin for someone’s 5th year sober. Made from 1/8" curly maple that had been finished with a gloss brush on poly. The pictures do not do the figure in this wood justice. Note that curly maple does not engrave dark so you would need to use a darkening spray to make the engraving stand out.
