A cut/engrave broken line option would be useful
LW is more into operation than design. I would love to have some basic design options but don’t think it’s happening, unless we get a developer willing to make it.
Can’t you draw that in you CAD / drawing software?
A lot of programs that make SVGs, including Inkscape, allow you to make a line dotted/striped/broken, but in LW they show up as normal lines…
I think that is the biggest problem, as you will need to manually make a stamp, brush or text item follow a path to get that result, and it can be quite labor-intensive to get them to do so just the way you want it…
