You need many rubber wheels for your project? 3D print one wheel, create a flexible mold and then make as many copies as you like easily and cheaply. Watch the video from Composimold.

For me the most compelling part of this process is that you can melt and re-use the material. I’m pretty sure I would not get things right the first time and this way I could reduce cost and waste.
Wonder if you can do this with normal silicone kit.

no, I’d print two halfs of a solid mold, which could be separated when the material hardened.

There are also a lot of wheel designs out there with varying amounts of springiness that can be printed directly, and embellished with rubber bands or O rings. Still, mold making is quite useful.
I would love to try composimold, but shipping from the USA is simply insane: $20 for the product, $42 for shipping. Seriously?
