I cannot help but chime in on this one : totally agreed with your article , webgl is a very useful and powerfull “tool” .
Hence why I am also using it (three.js to be specific) for Coffeescad : in-browser openscad like parametric modeling (disclaimer, this is self advertisement, but one I feel fitting to the point your are making
