@Adrian_Ciubotariu yes the print volume will (hopefully) be 40 x 20 x 30 . for the heatbed not really custom (to expensive) but the plan is to have 2 standards (prusa) heat bed side to side (80% of the time one bed whll be enough for printing) so i can turn on One bed OR 2 depending on my needs

Really sweet idea. I am tinkering right now with a regular aluminium plate to which I will glue copper wire. I’m not finding the time to see what diameter to use to not suck the power source dry and still get 80-90°

Dual Heatbed is exactly was I was thinking to build up too, is there allready a hack to let the printer decide by it’s own when to heat up the second bed or would you do this manualy for every print?

I’m assuming it’s not that difficult to implement. If the object exceeds a certain size generate a command to turn on the second heater. Out doesn’t even need to be in the firmware. Simply added in the start code in cura (since it’s what I used)
