Wooden storage boxed examples

Hi all

I’m considering making some wooden stockpiling boxes for my youngsters’ room. I was taking a gander at sliding cover opening yet a little uncertain how these are made. I saw some examples on this site [spam: link removed] but couldn’t find any good plans.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I worked up a couple of designs for boxes, including sliding and hinged lids:

If you’ll let me know what size box you want, what features you would like for it to have (i.e., type of lid), and what thickness stock you have, I’ll gladly work up an example design.

I found a great tool called MakerCase - MakerCase - Easy Laser Cut Case Design and might help you. Boxes.py is also great too.
