Wiring harness pins

Hey guys I’m replacing the extruder on my Raptor 2 printer with a standard Hemera extruder. I need to remake some of the wiring harnesses but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what size crimp connectors to buy for the wiring. I went to DigiKey and bought some AWF 20-26 female tips. They fit into the connectors but are too long and stick out of the connectors. If anyone can give some advice it would be a life saver. I know I could just solder the wires together but would prefer to do it this way if possible. I’m attaching a picture of the existing wire harness that you’ve probably seen a hundred times lol I’ve also attached a picture of the crip pins I bought that are too long.
Thanks in advance!

Jim

if they lock into the plastic housing and the only problem is they wire crimp end sticks out the back I would throw some hot glue around them and the wires and call it good.

But I’ll go dig out my connectors and see if I see any part numbers since I’d bought a few hundred almost 10 years ago I don’t recall where I purchased from.

I have JST PH 2mm connector kit and a JST-XH connector kit which both have the short crimp end. I remembered I’d got these off amazon, here is one kit as an example - Amazon.com: CQRobot JST PH 2.0 mm Pitch 5-Pin/6-Pin/7-Pin JST Wiring Connecting IC Male Plugs, Female Sockets Housing and T-Shaped Crimp Terminal Kit. 90 Sets/730 Pieces JST PH Connector Adapter Cable Assembly. : Industrial & Scientific

you can also use standard pinheaders plastic housings. They should fit into the JST connector. But beware that you will be able to insert it in both sides…
