What's the percentage lost to print volume on the QR style printers?

What’s the percentage lost to print volume on the QR style printers? I’m looking at repurposeing the Delta electricals in a printer for the boys.

Criteria:

  • Extend the bottom legs so that there’s space for power supply, RUMBA, etc.
    -Exterior envelope roughly 18"(L)x18"(W)x??"(H) to fit on kid’s desk.
    -20x20 extruded structure, using QR style connections to provide rigidity

In not calculat but seeing and cad it lose ~120mm for x and for y~95

Mike I stay cure this point because my objective are little different a solid simple to assemble desk printer :slight_smile:
