What's the best orientation to print the wishbone components for the Truggy?

What’s the best orientation to print the wishbone components for the Truggy? They load into my slicer on their side (and are quite tall), but I’ve had no luck with supports generating between the sacrificial elements between the two ‘arms’ of the wishbone.

Lay them flat. I’ve never broken mine

I printed mine on the side as you described and you don’t need supports as the part was designed to print without. In hindsight, I would have removed the sacrificial block and let the slicer handle the supports (less material, and better control over support interface layers). You can probably print flat as well like Mike mentioned, as long as the material you’re using has good interlayer bonding. The wishbone itself will be as strong, but the pin bores would be weaker compared to printing on the side.

Does anyone know if the block with two holes in it that is in the rear wishbone is used for something? I don’t want to remove it from the file if I end up needing it in the build.

Flat!
Works great.
