I was looking for websites to sell STL files on. Any recommendations?
I was looking at https://www.myminifactory.com/ and think that might be a good place to start. I think I can sell STL files or gather tips on my designs without having any charges. I think they take 30% as their cut. It is a foreign website, so I do not know how complicated it will be for tax purposes. I guess I would just take the amount and list it as income on the tax forms.
Minifactoy was set as UK London based business by a French guy, I am pretty sure he doesn’t care about taxe on the other side of the pond.
another place is shapeways but that is more a place to place you designs and people can print them via Shapeways and you get about 20 commission on each sale
