what is a good printer for around 5000kr? (529,20$) im going to use it to make things for cosplay. so id like a big build plate. i also want it to be able to use some more exotic filaments. i arleady have been looking at the Neptune 4 Max, but i dont know if theres anything better out there. id want it to be mostly built out of the box, but it can be fully built out of the box.
You’ll have trouble with exotic filaments in that range because so many of them need active chamber heating, and I’m not aware of anything in that price range with both large build volume and a heated chamber.
Yes i know that. But the reason is that i want a big build plate is because i dont want to have to split everything i print into a milion different peices. But i looked at the one you recommend. And it sounds pretty good.
as i said. im going to use this for cosplay. and i dont want to need to split the prints into too many small peices and need to glue it together
i mostly going to use the more normal filaments. i might in the far future. but that will be a future problem. now i just want a printer.
If you are satisfied with PLA and don’t need an enclosed print bed, the base level Sovol SV08 might be close to that price — it is close to that in the US; I don’t know what your local pricing would be. Reviews I’ve seen so far have been positive, so it’s probably worth at least looking at.
I don’t own one, so I can’t speak directly to its quality.
i looked at it. and its almost perfecrt. one thing tho, it is a tad bit expensive. is there one close to the Sovol SV08 that i like 50 to 100 dollars cheaper?
