PLA has been working great for me (1st printer).

printing with pla on blue painters tape works really well for me

Acrylic

Blue tape on glass. If you have an acrylic platform (with or without tape) and you dwell a hot nozzle on it too long (depending on your slicer’s start sequence, this may be unavoidable), you can melt the acrylic.

Under the glass (because you don’t want to try to drill the glass), you can use whatever you’re making the frame out of.

I’m using masking tape on glass with pla on my Graber. Working really well for me.

Thanks for your replies. :). I think I will try the glass and blue tape way from @Whosa_whatsis .
