@NedMan
I have a friend that has a pool filter that has a small crack in it.
He wants to attempt a repair.
I recommended this glue as I have had good success with gluing most plastics: https://amzn.to/3yac0GG
Given the tank is under 30psi and it is hard to get adhesive in the crack I realize this is a long shot.
Considering the cost of a new tank, I figure it’s worth a try.
I wondered if you had any alternate adhesive suggestions.
I recommend epoxy glue. You can use epoxy to seal the filter housing without having to replace the pool filter entirely. Apply urethane epoxy resin to the crack in the sand filter with a plastic knife. Use the blade to make the resin smooth and even, then let it dry for the time recommended by the manufacturer.
