What free toolpath software is currently in favor? I would like to go from .stl to a grbl controller.

oooooOOOooo … just a quick question though… @Robert_D_Attile sorry for the hijack . but +Peter van der Walt for imported path manipulation ( move and position) can you grab or utilize the arc/circle center points? Been working with BobCAD at work and that is one very annoying thing that it is missing. missing even so far as you cannot always use them to move , position or sometimes even for tool path selections… :[
na, I always knew I wanted a laser! but my current issue is creating a toolpath for a DIY CNC router. So far I found freemill, but it doesn’t let me pick different mill patterns.
