We learn every day.

We learn every day.

Today’s lesson in 3D printing:
When using a heat gun to melt a clog out of a nozzle, hard paperboard is not a great surface to use (nor is any paper-based surface). It turns out that a heat gun on high will char the paper and make your apartment stink.
Bonus lesson:
Hard paperboard will transfer heat through to the carpet (yes, I’m lazy and work on the carpet), and carpet melts! (Though, you may be able to trim the very tips off and have it look and feel fine.)

And the next month, we’ve forgotten and a new set of people get to learn all over again! Glad we have this community, makes relearning a lot quicker.
