@Brett_Stevens Haha. A nice gif!

good idea

I printed a collar that allowed me to connect my shop vac to my chop saw outlet. Instant dust collection system.

@Patrick_Ryan Another good idea!

Actually, now that I think about it, the very first 3D prints I did were useful: parts for me to improve my 3D printer. A bit incestuous and self-referential, perhaps, but definitely useful. I’ve also recreated a bearing for a vacuum cleaner power nozzle brush, and designed tablet holders for tabletop and guitar stand. So, yeah, I’m all about the useful prints! :slight_smile:

@Patrick_Ryan Did you post your files anywhere? Interesting to see.

All my design/3d prints are for a useful purpose. Sometimes replacing broken or missing parts, sometimes creating useful but non existent stuff… That’s also why I always post the modeling file and not only the STL. So everyone can remix to fit their needs.
I am too impatient to print for fun

@Benjamin_Santalucia Yes, sometimes it is good to be able to customise already existing files.

@3DWithUs Everything I’ve posted is here:
