US Patent Office Publishes LiquidMetal Applications from Apple.
The US Patent & Trademark Office published today a new series of five Liquidmetal patent applications from Apple which were originally filed in Q2 2012. Two of these inventions from Apple are related to 3D printing. They are methods of construction a part with build metallic glasses (BMG – Liquidmetal) layer by layer.

Bad news all round then, generic apple patents are always bad for innovation and the consumer…

@Larry_Rosenthal I was talking to my wife about that a couple of days ago - I’d like to design a system to run a hopper of those chocolate pastilles to do custom chocolates.
