Unlocking after auto level probe failure without loosing zero

If the auto level probe fails due to dust or something, it locks out and AFAIK the only way to unlock is click the rest button and then the unlock button that replaces it.

This clears all the zeros and setting zeros needs to be redone, which is not a quick process on these small machines with not zero stops.

Is there anyway to just unlock and return to zero without resetting GRBL and loosing offsets?

I don’t believe Grbl supports that. In fact, I recall that being one of the reasons people tried to move away from Grbl is that it has you reset too often because those 8-bit controllers just don’t have enough memory to add extra features like that.
