That’s why I started a section on http://esp8266.com to fix the at command set, but largely its not that popular.

Where’s the section? How many people still use the AT commands? I think three (including myself).

Well, as you can see from the post, I’m not going to be the fourth one! It was an interesting project, however.

I’ve got a library (for Arduino) that works well enough with the AT command set. I just got stuck on the Android app for configuring the WLAN credentials.It’s called Smart Config and used to work for me back in May but now in November it does not. I probably upgraded the ESP8266 firmware or something. Pity it’s so backward INcompatible.
