Tool size, type, speeds and feeds please?

This is 2mm 2 flute bit, feed rate 360mm/min, plunge 300mm/min, 12000rpm, machine is 3040 with 400W spindle motor.

Each pass is 1.5mm and I cut 0.5mm through the material to make sure part is properly cut out. There are 6x1.5mm deep tabs (effective depth is 1mm) to hold the part in place.

Awesome! I just got my CNC3040 to work today. I had the 500W spindle and I was strunggling with a disconection problem. I kind of solved this using a shorter USB cable. But I am thinking of buying the 400W because of the power supply, the one I have makes a lot of noise. Nice cuts btw :slight_smile:
