This may seem like an odd question, but will LW3 or LW4 be able to pull information from a Raspberry Pi web server to display information in the LW interface?

I’m considering using an RPi with a few add on’s such as a ping sensor for setting distance, a pi cam for alignment on the bed and various interfaces such as water temp, interlock switches, etc…

My original plan was to have most of this on a separate LCD panel but that doesn’t help for the camera overlay or say the ability to trigger an alarm state in LW.

The new plan is to do this via websockets on the pi and have a web page to provide all of the information. I’m thinking maybe the same information can be fed into LW.

Thoughts?

well, since the whole nodejs thing is relatively new to me, I can’t make any promises :slight_smile: I have a pi set aside for this with a fresh raspbian image so we’ll see where this goes.
