This is my 4th try on the PCB creation with ShapeOko with Dual-Y.

This is my 4th try on the PCB creation with ShapeOko with Dual-Y.

The whole process included:

  • Eagle for PCB design
  • Eagle ULP “pcb-gcode” for gcode generation
  • Universal G-Code Sender running on Ubuntu 64bits
  • grbl running on a atmega328 with a Z-Touch Plate mod.

Eagle:
Traces width: 0.61
Bottom Restring: 35%

pcb-gcode params was:
Single pass.
Z-Down: -0.18 mm
Drill Depth: -1.8 mm
XY Feedrate: 200 mm/min
Z Feedrate: 100 mm/min

I use a carbide engraving bit 30° for the traces and a 0.8mm bit drill for the holes.

I’m happy with the result but I believe that it could be better if I do some changes, like change gcode params or change the engraving.

that looks pretty good!
