@Bill-CNC, I’m particularly interested in learning about the belt splicing jig you made. I expect to be splicing a belt for the Z lift on my laser relatively soon. I can’t seem to easily buy a ~2400–2500 tooth gt2 closed loop belt which leaves me with DIY as the most obvious answer.

I do not care for:

• remoting the LPS without a metal enclosure on the HV wiring.
• having a laser controller in a remote box without interlocks on covers

But that is just me …
