It’s an amazing technology and when it impacts children like this in such a positive way, it makes me proud to be part of the human race. The joy is just oozing from this little boys smile.

Cool! I really think that Kickstarter has the potential to help making these kind of 3D printing projects possible. They both seems to go hand in hand.

Luckily I’ve contributed to both the robohand and the kickstarter campaign. In fact trying to finish my part of the kickstarter video right now! For Liam’s hand I made a remix on thingiverse which later became incorporated into the original hand. For the kickstarter I’m the ‘other half’ in that Easton approached me a while ago and I’ve designed the 3D parts, whilst he’s printed and assembled them with the electronics side.
