The right side of my Prusa i3’s print bed’s height-screws are maxed out in their lowest position but I want to have a bit more clearance between it and the nozzle because the gap is still too wide. What should I be looking for to get more clearance. It seems something is off by making the right side a bit higher but I cannot identify it.
Hi Tim, when you tightened the Y axis to the frame, were the rods pushed all the way down? We normally assemble it upside down and this might cause the lack of calibration clearance for you http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/4.+Z+axis/19#s217
You can also lift the Z endstop holders few millimetres and this will also give you more space to calibrate.
It has been a while since my build but i think it was all the way down.
Do you sell the metal couplers that attache the z-stepper to the threaded rod? I have clearance in there but am unable to push them together because of the rubber friction.
The z-endstops are screwed to the plastic part so I am not sure how to adjust that. Please advise.
